Happy National Nurses Month! Each week, we focus on a different theme with activities to make a positive difference in your well-being, enhance your professional development, recognize nurses, and increase your community involvement. Explore our weekly themes and be sure to save each one on your calendar so you don’t miss a thing!

May 1 - 7: Engage in healthy activities that focus on both your body and mind. Use this week to take steps to prioritize your well-being and that of your colleagues. Explore all our self-care resources, curated just for nurses.

May 8 - 14: Honor the work of nurses who lead, excel, and innovate, not only in our health care systems, but also in our communities which makes them vital to transforming the future of health care. Recognize a colleague, family member or friend, or post a general acknowledgement to all nurses for their service. Nurses deserve to see the impact they make in the lives of so many. Use #ThankANurse and post your message on social to pop-up in our real time feed.

May 15 - 21: Access resources and insights to guide you in your professional development. Focus on how you can excel and lead in your nursing career or inspire and help others in their professional nursing journey. Expand your skills like communication, problem solving and teamwork and register for our Free National Nurses Month Webinar, Asking and Advocating for What Nurses Need on May 17 at noon.

May 22 - 31: Educate members of your community on what nurses do beyond the bedside — advocacy, shaping public policy, or serving as organizational board members, among other duties. Encourage them to support current and future nurses.
